After spending most of the morning looking around the farm for Mrs. Polka Dots, Melissa finally gets to relax on the comfortable seats of the train. She and her sister Mona are on their way to New York to visit their aunt Theresa. Minutes after boarding the train, Melissa meets a charismatic tiny man by the name of Mr. I Forgot. This spectacular tiny man wears a red-and-yellow suit and a purple chicken for a hat. Then he lets Melissa look inside his red magic bag. Little Max and his talking baseball bat come out of the bag and invite Melissa to come with them to a magical place up in space. They fly up to Little Town, where Melissa meets Mrs. Remember I Forgot, the queen of Little Town. She meets One, the cheerful clown; Old Mr. New; and many other exciting little people among all the interesting little people. She also meets a pink and a blue singing puppy, a delicious chocolate bike, a purple tiny fox and many other enchanting characters. Mr. I Forgot gives Melissa golden wings and a magical pair of green glasses so she too can see the future and what already has been seen.
